DESCRIPTION:January 29 and 31\, 2024\nTallahassee\, Florida\nRegistration Deadline: January 22\, 2024 \nThe Florida League of Mayors (FLM) events will take place on Monday\, January 29 and Wednesday\, January 31\, in Tallahassee\, in conjunction with the Florida League of Cities’ Legislative Action Days. NOTE: The FLC Legislative Action Days is a separate registration. Click here to register for the FLC Legislative Action Days. \nRegister no later than January 22\, 2024 for the FLM events. \nClick here to register for the FLM events. \nFLM SCHEDULE: Monday\, January 29\, 2024 AND Wednesday\, January 31\, 2024 \nMonday\, January 29\, 2024\nFLM Forum on Mental Health Issues in Your Community\n2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.\nLocation: Apalachee Center\nBus transportation will be provided and will depart at 2:30 p.m. from the Kleman Plaza/FLC Office and go to the Apalachee Center.\nMayors will be given a tour and overview of the Apalachee Center (a private not-for-profit 501c3 behavioral health organization that offers a comprehensive range of mental health and substance abuse services) and will participate in a discussion regarding mental health issues. Apalachee Center’s President & Chief Executive Officer Jay A. Reeve\, PhD\, will lead the discussion. \nMonday\, January 29\, 2024\nFLM Dinner (For FLM Members and FLM Nonmembers; For Mayors Only)\n6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.\nPlease Note: A $50 no-show fee will be charged to your city if you register for the dinner and do not cancel before January 2\, 2024.\nLocation: Governor’s Club\nTicket required. Pre-registration required. Only 1 guest allowed. Seating is limited.\nTo be good stewards of the FLM finances\, please do not RSVP for this dinner unless you are 100% sure that you will attend. A ticket is required for the dinner and you will receive your ticket when you check-in at the event registration desk; if you register a guest for the dinner\, their ticket will also be provided to you at the event registration desk. \nWednesday\, January 31\, 2024\nFLM Board of Directors Meeting\n12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.\nLocation: Sittig Hall at Kleman Plaza/FLC Office\, 301 S Bronough Street\, Tallahassee\, 32301.\nLuncheon provided for the FLM Board of Directors only. \nThese FLM events are held in conjunction with the Florida League of Cities’ Legislative Action Days.
