DESCRIPTION:FLM Regional Events September 25\, 2024 – Daytona Beach \nRegister no later than September 12\, 2024. \nSeptember 25\, 2024\n11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. \nFLM Regional Lunch\, Roundtable Meeting and Dinner at Daytona International Speedway\, LLC \nHosted by FLM President Nancy Miller\, Mayor of Daytona Beach Shores. Lunch and dinner provided. \nLocation:\nDaytona International Speedway\, LLC\nOne Daytona Boulevard\nDaytona Beach\, FL 32114 \nPart of FLM President Miller’s priority is strengthening our relationships with businesses in our community. On September 25\, we will host a Mayors Mean Business Roundtable. We are asking each Mayor to invite one individual from their own business community (i.e. a business owner\, your tourist development council\, your local Chamber President\, or some other representative of your business community) to this event. We will discuss what is working in your community with respect to recruiting or retaining businesses and how businesses and local governments can work better together. If your city offers incentives to businesses\, please bring information to share at the roundtable (for example\, in Daytona Beach Shores there is an economic business incentive focused on retaining business and encouraging citizens to live\, work\, play and shop in the city). If you have any questions\, please email flm@flcities.com. Hot laps are not open to your business guest. \nONLY Mayors only can participate in Hot Laps! Space is limited for the Hot Laps at 50 people. Hot Laps Are Not Open to Personal Guests or Business Guests. A driver will drive you around the Daytona International Speedway racetrack\, reaching speeds of approximately 100 mph around the 2.5-mile track. (You must be 18 years of age or older\, sign a waiver of liability and wear seatbelts). \nYou can bring 1 guest + 1 business guest to the lunch\, roundtable and dinner; but not to the hot laps.
