Hershel Lyons\, On-Site Administrator at Education Management Consulting Services and former Chancellor K-12 Public Schools at the Florida Department of Education\, will lead the discussion on Mentoring\, specifically how cities can set up successful mentorship programs in their cities and how to be a mentor to other mayors. Bob Asztalos\, Deputy Executive Director of the Department of Veterans Affairs\, will focus on veterans’ issues and how Mayors can provide more support to this group locally.
