The Honorable Christine Dobkowski
Mayor, City of Belleview

Mayor Christine Dobkowski has served as the Mayor of the City of Belleview since 2011. She began her service to the city as a Commissioner in 2006. As Mayor, she serves a small city of approximately 6100 residents, with 50 city employees.

Mayor Dobkowski holds a BA degree in Criminology from Saint Leo University, a Master’s degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University, and a  Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. She is co-owner of Mr. and Mrs. Blindmaster, a family owned and operated window treatment business. In her spare time, Dobkowski enjoys running, reading, and writing. She recently published a children’s book, her second publication.

Some of Dobkowski’s favorite accomplishments as Mayor include spearheading the city’s inaugural Youth Commission Council, forming a much needed Homeless Task Force, advocating for the city’s first Splash Pad, and creating the Mary Ann Cafaro Community Garden. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the Florida League of Mayors since 2021.
