The Honorable Steve Osmer
Mayor, City of Satellite Beach

I love Satellite Beach and its small town community living! I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania and appreciate how families, neighbors and local businesses take care of each other. My first stop in Satellite Beach was in 1984 when I was stationed at Patrick AFB as an Air Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal (Bomb Squad) Specialist. After the Air Force I have been working at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and Kennedy Space Center, supporting the Space Program and the military. I returned to Satellite Beach in 2001 with my wife and our boys, who attended Satellite Beach Schools.

I volunteered on the Satellite Beach Code Enforcement Board, Comprehensive Planning Board, Samsons Island Working Board, Satellite Beach Auditor Selection Committee Chairperson, Ad Hoc Employee Care Committee Chairperson, Ad Hoc Public Works/Fire Station Design Committee Chairperson, Councilmember 2014-2018 and now serving citizens of Satellite Beach for a second term as a Satellite Beach City Mayor.  I encourage residents to participate in their city government, to tell me your concerns, ask me questions and send me your comments. I promise to make sure your concerns and questions are heard and addressed.

I support our city’s services and will work to ensure the residents always get the best value from them. I will see to it the city, like all citizens, lives within its budget. I support new technology, new business and new growth, as long as it is in the best interest of the citizens and the Satellite Beach way of life.

I have served as the Vice President and President of the Space Coast League of Cities, Florida League of Cities Nominating Committee, Florida League of Mayors Board of Directors, FLM Nominating Committee, and FLC Home Rule Hero again this year.
