2002 Moved to West Melbourne Fl from Detroit MI after 40 years of seeing how important local government can be to a community.
2004 attained Florida license as a title agent.
2006 finished BA degree in Business Administration Accounting and Finance with a dual degree in Business Management.
Employed as an underwriter for Chase Bank 2006-2016.
2009 elected to city council for the City of West Melbourne.
Continued to work full time as a title agent and then an underwriter and finish my degree while taking care of my elderly father beginning in 2002 until his death in 2017.
City of West Melbourne Deputy Mayor 2012 and 2017.
Selected as Liaison to Space Coast Transportation and Planning Organization (TPO) and selected as Chairman of the TPO since 2020 which is my current position on the TPO.
Served on the Regional Intermodal Connections Committee which spearheaded the bringing Brightline passenger rail to Brevard County.
Served as the Chairman of the Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (TDLCB) since 2020 until December 2024.
Currently serving on the Executive Board of the Metropolitan Planning Organization Alliance Committee (MPOAC).
Served on the Space Coast Tourist Development Committee (TDC) from 2018 through 2024. Vice Chairman in 2022. Chairman of the TDC Cultural Committee whose purpose was to analyze applications from cultural organizations seeking grant money for their organizations to spotlight and promote tourism in Brevard.
Board member of the Florida League of Cities and served on the Land Use and Economic Development committee and currently serving on the Transportation and Intergovernmental Relations Committee. These committees advocate for Home Rule for the benefit of local government handling local issues. I have continuously served on FLC committees since elected to West Melbourne city council in 2009. I continue to attend FLC continuing education and leadership classes both online and at the annual conference.
2021 President of Space Coast League of Cities.
2020 Attained ARES Brevard County Fl Amateur Radio Emergency Services License and became emergency certified to qualify as a first responder in catastrophic emergencies CERT certified.
November 2024 Elected Mayor of the City of West Melbourne.
