The Honorable Lois Paritsky
Mayor, Town of Ponce Inlet
Lois Paritsky currently serves as the Mayor of Ponce Inlet, Florida, a position she has held since 2021. She is dedicated to protecting rights and advocating for Ponce Inlet at the local, state, and federal levels. Her leadership roles reflect her commitment to addressing critical issues such as public safety, resilience and environmental preservation.
Mayor Paritsky chairs the Volusia County Roundtable of Elected Officials, a collaborative group representing Volusia County’s sixteen cities and county government. She is Vice-Chair of the Florida League of Cities Utilities, Natural Resources, and Public Works Committee. She also serves on the Executive Board of the American Flood Coalition, a national nonprofit focused on combating flooding and sea level rise.
Her advocacy extends to animal welfare in support of the Animal Legal Defense Fund and the Animal Law Section of the Florida Bar Association. She works to advance legal protections for animals.
Before becoming Mayor, she served as Vice-Chair of Ponce Inlet’s Planning Board and was first elected to the Town Council in 2015. An experienced trial attorney specializing in civil and criminal litigation, she is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Police Science from Bradley University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond.
