While in Bloomington, IL at our Corporate Headquarters, I had countrywide and Canadian responsibilities for training Field Loss Control Staff.

After retiring from State Farm in 2018, we relocated to Lake Alfred, FL in 9-18. I was offered a position in Code Enforcement in 2019 resigned in April 2020 due to covid. I was approached by a Director in Lake Alfred and asked to consider running for an opening on the City Commission.

I was elected as a City Commissioner in April 2021 and re-elected in April 2025.

Since then, I have served 2 years as a commissioner, 1 year as Vice Mayor, and currently in my 2nd year as Mayor after being re-elected in 2025 for my 2nd term.
